In 1945, it was owned by Matilda Patee, and then in 1952, Morse’s daughter Mary and her hus- band Richard Osborne purchased the home, which became known as The President’s House in reference to hosting special guests of the resort. In 1967, Darius and Carole Keaton bought the home, renovated it, and sold it to Vaughn G. Feather. The Feathers added 1970s touches, including a mirrored exercise room and a disco with artificial palm trees, renaming the estate Casa Palmero. Certain suites have dining areas along with private courtyards, whirlpool spas and lounge seating.
