In 1967, Darius and Carole Keaton bought the home, renovated it, and sold it to Vaughn G. Feather. The Feathers added 1970s touches, including a mirrored exercise room and a disco with artificial palm trees, renaming the estate Casa Palmero. Certain suites have dining areas along with private courtyards, whirlpool spas and lounge seating.
